Saturday is the busiest day at Comic Con and we felt it! The lines were even longer, the crowds a bit wilder, the crew a bit more stressed but then again for us the panels were the highlight of the day. Basically our day at NYCC consisted of standing in line and attending panels we stood in line for. Add an additional bathroom beak line and some arguments with crew to the mix and that’s what our day was like.
There is a plethora of panels going on from morning till evening and though the panels in the smaller 1A and 1B rooms can give you a sneak peak of some future gems, the Main Stage panels are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Last year the organizers of NYCC decided that camping out in the Main Stage would be a thing of the past. So they introduced the wrist band system and the clearing of the hall after each panel. The system is still undergoing some growing pains however. I’m going to spare you the details of the ordeal we had to go through to get 3 wristbands of the coveted panels Firefly Reunion, The X-Files and Netflix and Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Daredevil. Read on for the report of the Jessica Jones panel and the recap of the X-Files panel.
With all the standing in line we did however manage to get some nice cosplay pictures which you can take a look at in the gallery below:
